Archie The Ankylosaurus

Archie was an Ankylosaurus. He was on his way to meet with his friends one day. Since Archie was an Ankylosaurus, his back was tough, and he had a hard club on the back of his tail.

Archie spotted his friends by the cave. “hello everyone!” he yelled. His friends waved at him; they were playing catch the stick. “hello! Catch the stick Archie!” screamed Berry, a Brachiosaurus. She threw the stick at Archie. Archie struggled to move his heavy body to catch the stick, but when the stick landed on his body, it cracked.

“Sorry for ruining the game everyone,” Archie exclaimed. “It’s fine, the game was starting to get boring anyway.” Said an Edmontonia, called Eissi.

Archie felt better. The friends decided to play hide and seek. An Ornithomimus called Orianna was counting. Archie hid behind a bush with all his other friends, Eissi, Berry, and Dixie. “2..1..0! Ready” shouted Orianna.

In the bush where Archie and his friends were hiding, Archie was taking up, a lot of the space. “Move over Archie!” whispered Dixie, a Dilophosaurus. As Archie moved over his club stuck out of the bush.

After a few seconds, Orianna shouted: “Found you!” “Ugh! Archie, this is all your fault! You broke the stick and you got us all caught in hide and seek! You are very bad at playing games!” scolded Dixie. “That’s mean Dixie!” Orianna exclaimed. Dixie didn’t care, she was being mean though.

Archie felt bad that he ruined his friend’s game. “Let’s play catch now!” said Berry, trying to get Archie’s mind of Dixie. Everyone agreed to play catch.

Archie was ‘it’. He had to catch all his other friends. All his friends ran, but Archie couldn’t keep up because of his huge club. It was slowing him down. After a while, Archie didn’t catch anyone. “Ugh! Archie, your so slow! I hate playing with you” Exclaimed Dixie. “Stop being rude Dixie!” demanded Berry. “Well, its true!” Dixie replied.

“Let’s play dino, meat and stone, (which is rock, paper and scissors.)” said Dixie. “But he can’t play!” demanded Dixie. She pointed to Archie. “It’s okay, you can play without me.” Archie said to his other friends.

The friends nodded. They went to the cave, to sit down. Archie sat outside the cave, sad.

Just as Dixie, Berry, Eissi and Orianna started playing, a T-Rex appeared from the other side of the cave! The cave the little dinos were playing in, was a T-Rex’s home!

“Ahhhh! A T-rex!” Screamed the little dinos. “I am going to have you all for supper!” exclaimed the mean T-rex. He was even meaner than Dixie! “Help! Help Archie please!” screamed Orianna.

Archie heard his friends scared roars. Even though he was frightened of T-Rex’s, he was determined to save his friends. Archie marched into the cave, angry. “Go away you naughty
T-Rex!” He demanded. The T-rex cackled evilly. He came closer and closer to Archie. “Use your tail to keep him away Archie!” suggested Eissi. “Okay!” Archie whooshed his tail vigorously at the T-rex. “Ow! Owi!” exclaimed the T-Rex. When the T-Rex touched Archie’s back it hurt his fingers. The T-rex even tried to bite archie’s back, but after he took his first bite all his teeth fell out! Archie didn’t even get a scratch from the T-Rex’s bite.
The mean T-Rex ran away crying and scared.

“You saved us Archie!” exclaimed Eissi. “Thank you Archie!” said Berry. “Yes, Thank you ever so much!” exclaimed Orianna. “Thank you Archie! And I’m very sorry. I was being really mean and rude. Your tail and hard back are amazing!” Dixie said, gratefully.

“Your welcome, everyone! Now I love my tail and my hard back!” Archie exclaimed delighted. Everyone hugged each other. “Now we can have our supper and not be the T-Rex’s Supper!” exclaimed Orianna. Everyone laughed.

Perfection - Poem

I try to find words for your ethereal beauty, but I stumble in your presence, Your intoxicating energy, My cheeks ablaze, Please jealousy, consume me,  Her light is too bright, Yet it shines with me, Your honey words of poetry, Those of which you sing, I am spellbound and falling under your incantation, The moon could be our gem, The sun could be our ring, The worlds but an orb in your earthly eyes.

From the Men of Troy - poem

To touch the scars of your soul through your eyes and deepen them, To wield the my trojan tongue in hopes of dying for her, Her who sent those ships to sink, Her who held hope in her arms and harnessed its impact against us, Her who ran into the sand and bathed in their flames,  She loved it so much that she lived in its ashes You stopped being a monster because I loved you, I found what I loved and let it kill me, She is the closest thing to magic, To god, To human, Time told me it wasn't love, But if this wasn't it, what could it be? I was blinded by hopes of church bells and chariot rides, Those that hide your glow because it's mine I wished to died for treasure, No remorse, but just loss of something better, Rest Helen, Everything was more beautiful when we were doomed,

Should we fall? - poem

Distraught, disfigured, shattered, How do I leave my demons? How do I find a cure? Within these walls, hope has brewed,  Translucent and pure, like a fleeting dream,  Let us depart, venture into the unknown. Before departure, This maiden, she spared a glance behind, Through her watery waterline, The deception, She realised nobody was waiting, And so she plunges forward, into the depths of madness, Let us follow, embrace her uncharted path, Even if we must fall, Lets join her Past foggy glasses, We learn the essence of joy,  To confront our fears or be crippled by our despairs,  The choice is ours to make, For destiny is completely malleable if you hit hard enough
